This week, the Marcel Digital team joined forces with the Chicago Help Initiative to serve hot, nutritious meals to guests in the dining room of Catholic Charities at 721 N. LaSalle St., Chicago. Supporting this initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement and philanthropy. Volunteering with CHI has become a meaningful tradition for our team, and it's always a rewarding experience to give back to our neighbors in need.
About the Chicago Help Initiative
The Chicago Help Initiative (CHI) organizes volunteers to prepare, donate, and deliver meals to food pantries and meal sites throughout the city. Every Wednesday, CHI hosts a dining event at Catholic Charities, providing both sit-down and takeaway meals to individuals experiencing hunger and homelessness. In addition to mobilizing a strong volunteer base, they collaborate with local restaurants to offer a rotating menu of meals.
Beyond food, CHI connects guests with critical social services and resources that support long-term stability and improved quality of life. Their mission is to fight hunger and economic hardship with both compassion and consistency. Each week, volunteers, donors, and sponsors come together to make a direct impact.
