Last week, the Marcel Digital team spent another day volunteering at Project C.U.R.E.'s warehouse in Woodridge, IL, helping sort medical supplies that will go on to support communities around the world.
What the Day Looked Like
Our team worked through the sorting process, checking expiration dates and setting aside any items that were no longer usable. The supplies that passed inspection were organized into grouping bins to be packed and shipped to hospitals and clinics overseas.
Each shipping container requires roughly 800 hours of volunteer time to sort, pack, and prepare for delivery. Our team's time on the floor is a small part of that total, but it's a reminder of how much collective effort goes into getting supplies where they're needed.
This continues to be one of the most rewarding ways our team gives back, and we're glad to keep making it part of what we do.
