Mercedes has been working as an accounts manager in the advertising and digital marketing space for the last 7 years across a variety of industries including Hospitality, Design, Entertainment, Food and Beverage and Luxury Real Estate Development. She also specializes in a variety of services like Paid Social, Content Planning and Creation, Copy writing, Creative Direction, Graphic Design and Branding.
A "learner for life", Mercedes has a never-ending curiosity to feed. She spends a lot of her free time studying new trends in the industry, testing out new ideas and strategies and mastering new service lines. These learnings, layered on top of her deep fascination with people and how they behave has resulted in the ability to piece together highly personalized digital campaign strategies that work.
Mercedes studied Vocal Performance and Music Business at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and performs in her free time. If you asked anyone to describe her in one word, they'd likely say "creative". When she isn't in the thick of a constantly bustling agency, you can find Mercedes watching / studying film, singing, reading, spending time with family, brainstorming the next "big idea" with friends or traveling. She's "obsessed" with pop culture studies, 20th century art and music, trivia and puzzles. Don't get her started on film- she won't stop talking.
She lives at home in Logan Square with her husband and two dogs: a Schicopoo, Fritz and an Aussie Shepherd, Theoden.
